Jerry Bance was born in
Punjab India where he attended college. In 1968 he immigrated
to England where he married his wife Shinder. Shortly after,
the Bances moved to Scarborough and have resided here for
33 years. Jerry works as a service technician and currently
owns and manages Xpress Appliance Service. His community involvement
includes being a president of a Sikh temple for 6 years and
the president of the Pickering Lions Club, where he opened
a women’s shelter. Jerry enjoyed his experience running
for the Conservative party in the last federal election and
is running again to bring Scarborough’s concerns to
Ottawa.
Jerry and his wife have three children and three
grandchildren. Their daughter Neelam is married to Jason
Parsons and they have two sons, Sahan and Devan. Their
daughter Anita is married to Simon Jagassar. Their son Sachin
is married to Namarta and they have one son Naveen.
